You need strong legs and a head for heights to walk the legendary Path of the Gods, a clifftop trail with dizzying sea views. The mythical Sentiero degli Dei (Path of the Gods) is by far the best-known walk on the Amalfi Coast: a spectacular traverse high above the Mediterranean with heavenly views over the islands of the Syrens, terraced fields and hazy mountains; the scenery is a typical Amalfi imitation of dramatic natural landscapes modified by generations of human settlers. Located high above the curving coast, the course of the trail winds for 7km between the villages of Bomerano and Nocelle with a few “relatively” minor undulations.
It is posssible to vary the itinerary walking from/down to Praiano or loop back to Bomerano.
